Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Effective 13 August 2026
Autom8 Technology Solutions (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, how it is used and shared, and the rights you hold over it under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.
It covers this website only. It does not cover the systems we build for clients, which are governed by the written agreement for that project.
01Who is responsible
Autom8 Technology Solutions is the personal information controller for the data described here. We are based in the Philippines and can be reached at:
- Email: autom8technologysolutions@gmail.com
- Phone and messaging: +63 976 678 9518
02What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the consultation form, we receive what you typed into it:
- your name;
- your company name, if you provide one (optional);
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you provide one (optional);
- which package you are interested in; and
- the description of what is slow in your current process.
Please do not put sensitive personal information into that message box. It is a free-text field for describing a business process, and we do not need health, financial, government ID or similar details in order to reply to you.
Information collected automatically. When the form is submitted, your IP address is checked against a short-lived, in-memory counter to stop a script from flooding the form. It is held for about a minute for that purpose and is never written to a database or included in the email we receive.
If you message us directly. The Viber, WhatsApp and phone buttons open your own app with a pre-written message. We only receive what you then choose to send, and that conversation is handled by the app you used under its own privacy policy, not ours.
03Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for tracking. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
We do use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It is cookieless: visitors are counted using a hash derived from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours, and it does not follow you across other websites. The data points recorded with each page view are:
- the time of the visit and the page URL;
- the referring site, if you arrived from a link;
- approximate location — country, region and city, derived from your connection;
- your device type, operating system and browser version.
We also record which buttons are clicked — for example, that someone opened the contact form. These events record the name of the control only. They contain nothing you typed and nothing that identifies you.
04Why we use it
We process the information above for these purposes, and no others:
- To reply to you. The details in the form are used to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote and, if you engage us, to carry out the work. This rests on your consent when you submit the form, and on the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the site working. The transient IP check protects the form from automated abuse. This rests on our legitimate interest in keeping a working contact channel.
- To improve the site. Aggregated analytics tell us which pages are read and which are ignored. This rests on our legitimate interest in maintaining the site, and the data is not tied to an identified person.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to make any automated decision about you.
05Who else handles it
We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. Each one is a service provider acting on our instructions:
- Vercel — hosts this website and provides the analytics described above. Serving a page necessarily involves your IP address reaching the host.
- Brevo — delivers the notification email to us and the acknowledgment email to you. The contents of your form submission pass through this service in order to be sent.
- Google (Gmail) — the mailbox where your inquiry arrives and is read.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a competent public authority.
06Where your information goes
The providers above operate servers outside the Philippines, so your information is transferred abroad and processed there. We remain accountable for it under the Data Privacy Act, and we choose providers that commit contractually to protecting the data they process on our behalf.
07How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept while we are in conversation with you and for up to twenty-four (24) months after our last exchange, so that we have context if you come back to us. After that they are deleted from the mailbox.
If you become a client, records connected to the engagement are kept for as long as the law requires us to retain business and tax records. Analytics data is aggregated and is not tied to you as an individual. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner — see section 9.
08How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is handled by a server-side action rather than a public API endpoint, and the mail credential is stored as an encrypted environment variable that is never sent to your browser. Access to the mailbox is limited to the people who need it and is protected by a password and multi-factor authentication.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as required by law.
09Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to:
- be informed that your personal information is being collected and processed;
- access the information we hold about you;
- object to processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave;
- correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- erasure or blocking of information that is incomplete, outdated, false, or unlawfully obtained;
- data portability — to obtain a copy in a commonly used electronic format;
- damages for inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unlawfully obtained information; and
- lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
To exercise any of these, email autom8technologysolutions@gmail.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your concern, you may raise it with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
10Children
This site sells business services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly. This version is effective 13 August 2026.
